fabric-covered storage box part 2
Here’s part 1 of the fabric-covered storage box tutorial, in which I covered the box with fabric and put felt on the bottom. Now I’ll show you how I made the lid!
First, I put the lid on top of my fabric and cut out a square with enough excess fabric on each side of the lid to cover the sides of the lid plus one inch.
With my fabric right-side up, I put the lid in the middle of the piece of fabric and marked the corners with a fabric marker.
Then I put a bunch of glue on the lid and placed the fabric on top of it, matching the dots on the fabric to the corners of the lid and smoothing it all down.
